Training for port captains, masters and officers (2 days)
MariTerm AB provides training in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping, 1978 as amended in 1995 (STCW -95) regarding training of masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on board ships including ro-ro passenger ships.The participants will after the training be able to make proper use of:
a Cargo Securing Manual and correctly apply the provisions of the Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Securing
the cargo securing equipment and materials provided
A typical program is as follows:

Methods for stowing and securing different types of cargoes;
General cargo, Project cargo, Reefer cargo, Paper cargo, Steel cargo,
RoRo cargo (trailers, mafis, cassettes etc.) and Containers
General requirements on Cargo Securing Manuals Contents in a Cargo Securing Manual Exercises on the contents in a Cargo Securing Manual Basic requirements on cargo stowage and securing in Cargo Transport Units (CTUs)
